University Passport, LLC is led by Carolyn K. Sorkin, Ph.D., a longtime leader in the fields of international and higher education. Over the past twenty-six years, Dr. Sorkin has worked in admissions at Brown University, international studies at Wesleyan University and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and teaching and research on international education and the Spanish-speaking world at New York University. She holds a PhD from New York University in international education, a dual MA from Stanford University in educational administration/policy analysis and international development education, and a BA from Brown University in History. Bilingual in Spanish and proficient in French and Portuguese, Dr. Sorkin is co-author of publications on the development and importance of intercultural competence and a frequent speaker at professional conferences.
